FIBA in the Americas is charged with the responsibility of organizing multiple basketball events during the year. Events go from continental tournaments to sub-zone regional qualifiers, covering adult and youth events in men’s and women’s categories.

A mobile application for basketball stakeholders in the Americas region. This applications serves as a one-stop-shop for all the information stakeholders may need in regards to what is happening with basketball in the Americas, right in the palm of their hands.

FIBA U18 Americas Championship Virtual reality

For the FIBA U18 Americas Championship, the communications team was tasked with developing and idea that would jump-start our innovation pillar. A Virtual Reality game was born.

FIBA Americup 2017 - LIVE SHOW

For the first time ever, the premier men’s continental event was played in three different countries. Having personnel scattered across the region was a challenge, but also proved to be an opportunity. We broadcasted the first live show with correspondents in every participating city.

Why I love Basketball?

The women athletes participating in our competitions need to have a voice in the basketball world, specially the youth. To empower the players and motivate them to continue to grow, we provided a space for them to be heard on the main FIBA social media channels.
