Let's Play H-O-U-S-E 

As an idea to involve players with fans, we developed a game of HORSE to be played on social media. We tasked 5 players, one from each FIBA region, with the challenge of creating a trick-shot for one of the letters in our game. We enlisted JJ Barea, Gabe Norwood, Gorgui Dieng, Matt Dellavedova and Lauri Markkanen as the players to create the shots.

The introduction

A video on FIBA’s social media channels with the instructions. Quick, short and straight to the point. We were going to share videos of the players making trickshots and ask the fans to recreate the shots.

The Players

We wanted to reach out to the players with the biggest profiles on the Qualifiers. We selected a player from each of the regions. For Americas we selected JJ Barea, for Asia we had Gabe Norwood, in Africa we contacted Gorgui Dieng, for Oceania we had Matt Dellavedova and for Europe we secured Lauri Markkanen.
